If you are traveling to study and improve your English skills, the United States is a wonderful place to start. However, there are various locations in the U.S. you may choose from and many different language schools to decide on. You may not know where to start, and unfortunately, you may not always make the right decision for you. You will want to make sure to choose the right school and location for you, and if you enroll in a language school but feel like it’s not for you, you may transfer to another school.

Whether it be the location, teaching style, class size, or anything else, you should make sure you are ready to transfer. After deciding you are ready to transfer, you will need to research a school that aligns with your needs and goals. Check various nearby schools to learn more about their curriculum, schedule, fees, and whatever else you are looking for.

Once you have chosen the language school you wish to transfer to, check their application requirements and fees. Prepare the necessary documents, typically an application form, a high school diploma, a recent bank statement, and copies of your I-20 form and passport. When you have your document ready, submit them and pay your application fees to start the transfer process.

Once you have been accepted into your chosen new language school, you will need to inform your current school of your wish to transfer. We encourage you to be respectful and provide your school with the required notice period, if applicable.

Transferring language schools can be an enriching experience, enabling you to broaden your horizons and enhance your language proficiency. Remember to plan your transfer in advance to ensure a successful transfer.
