2nd Quarter

At American English Language School, it always seems like time flies by. This is a common idiom people use to mean that time passes surprisingly quickly. Our first quarter started in January and ended in March. After each quarter is over, students have a one-week break to relax, study, travel, or do whatever they wish.

However, time sure flies because the vacation week is now over, and our second quarter of the year is about to begin. Three months seem like a long time to study. However, it sure does pass by quickly.

On Monday, April 3, our next quarter begins! We will have some students returning from their week off from the previous quarter, and we will be welcoming some new students for the first time!

Our ESL classes always begin at 9:00 am and end at 12:50 pm. Students will also have ten-minute breaks in between. Students will do various reading, listening, grammar, writing, and speaking activities throughout this quarter to improve their English.

The first week is always exciting because teachers will get to meet their new students and get to know each other. Luckily, since our ESL classes are smaller groups, students tend to warm up to each other quickly.

Are you interested in joining an ESL program to improve your English? If so, our next available start date will be on Monday, May 1. Enrollment is simple if you are local; simply fill out an AELS application form today! If you are applying and require an I-20 form, fill out an application form and submit copies of your passport, bank statement, and proof of your highest level of education.

To get started on the process of enrolling in an ESL or TOEFL course in the Los Angeles or Orange County area, visit our website American English Language School, or email info@aels.edu today for more information.
