Announcements

Our third quarter will be ending towards the end of September, so we have a few announcements to make for current and new students who will be starting the next quarter together.

Next week, students will prepare for their final exams. On the 11th week of our ESL program, students will review what they had learned in the previous weeks, and on Friday, they will take their final exam. We wish all of our students good luck!

After students have completed their final tests, the next week is Culture Week. This week is for students to explore different places with their class. They will be able to use what they have learned throughout the quarter outside of the classroom. Culture week is a time for students and teachers to have fun while learning!

On Monday, October 3rd, the next quarter will begin and end on Friday, December 23, 2022. Students will then have a 1-week break to relax before the next quarter will begin.

Our ESL course will be held Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:50 pm. Students will have a 10-minute break after every 50 minutes.

New students for our 4th quarter will be taking their placement tests soon. Our placement tests will help to assess students’ reading, listening, and speaking skills and which level would be appropriate for them to be placed in.

At AELS, students are expected to maintain an 80% attendance rate. Students who do not attend classes regularly are at risk of having their F-1 visa status terminated.

Lastly, we are excited for our incoming international students to arrive and are looking forward to the next quarter!

We accept international students, transfer students, and local students whose goal is to improve their English. If you or someone you know wants to join an ESL class to improve your English reading, writing, listening, and speaking, fill out an inquiry on our website (www.aels.edu) or email info@aels.edu.
