College Pathway Program

American English Language School has gained a reputation for helping our students to reach higher levels of English proficiency. Our smaller class sizes and emphasis on conversation help students to improve their English more than they would at other language schools. The teachers in our language school are qualified and passionate about teaching English. In order to have committed students, we need to have committed teachers as well.

Our ESL program is for students who are committed to improving their English. There are no shortcuts to learning English; a big factor in becoming proficient in English is dedication. If you are determined to improve your English reading, writing, listening, and speaking, American English Language School offers an intensive English course to help you improve. There are 6 levels in our ESL course; the levels are Basic and Level 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Each level of our ESL course lasts 3 months; after 3 months, if students pass their level, they will proceed onto the next level (level 1 students will advance to level 2, level 2 students will advance to level 3, and so forth). For students whose goal is to enroll in a university, they have the option to take advantage of our College Pathway Program.

AELS has special agreements with accredited colleges and universities all over the USA. These agreements allow students who have completed the highest level of our ESL program, Level 5, to be accepted into their school without taking the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam. The students who complete our ESL program are deemed as equivalent to scoring a passing grade on the TOEFL exam. We currently have agreements with Biola University, Golden West College, West Los Angeles College, Santa Monica College, and plenty of others!

If you are interested in learning more about our ESL program, College Pathway Program, or other schools we have agreements with, please email info@aels.edu for more information about how to get started.
